Hello!  Cindy back on the blog with you today.  When I saw this image in the shop I couldn't resist it. So super cute!  It's hard to see in this picture but the string the cat is playing with is colored green.  And I added some jute string to match.  For more details about my card please visit me at In Love with Paper.

Eskimo Kisses - Cathy

Back with one of the very first ADFD images I colored while taking an online coloring class with Michelle Houghton in 2012.  It's called Eskimo Kisses.  I remember feeling I was so out of my depth with this complex, beautiful image.   I still love to use it for "new mother" cards.

There's a new freebie in the ADFD Shop - Seven Daughters.  I downloaded it today and am planning to color it up for next week!  I hope you will try your hand at it, too!
Happy creating!
Cathy

Miss Clair Clown - Jen

Hi there!  I’m Jen and today it’s my turn to showcase one of the gorgeous images in the A Day for Daisies store, Miss Clair Clown.

 Miss Clair Clown

Isn’t this little sweetie the cutest, even for those that are afraid of clowns!  I coloured her using alcohol makers and a white gel pen and placed her right where she belongs – right in front of a circus tent!

If you haven't joined us over at the A Day for Daisies Community on Facebook , please consider this your personal invitation - just click here.

Have a crafty day!

The Green Lady | Zubaida Momi

Hello friends, Zubaida here!

Back again with another post, always great to work with images from 'A Day For Daisies'. They are so lovely to color and what a great variety they have. This time I chose to use ‘The Green Lady’ for my card. This oriental beauty looks great and makes my card so special. I really enjoyed coloring her.

I have used copics and pencil colors on the image and it worked great. The card is also covered in handmade flowers on one side and embellished with ribbons and doily on the other.
I used patterned paper for the background to match with the image.

Thanks ADFD for giving me the opportunity to share with you today!

Hope you guys like it!

Zuba :)

A Lap Full of Kittens by Alison Heikkila

Hello! Alison here, and today I am sharing a card that I made for my mom. She's going through some things right now in her life, so I wanted to make her a card to cheer her up. She has a lot of cats, so I knew that this was the perfect image for her!
The image is called Lap Full of Kittens, and it is just too cute. I colored the cats to match a few of the cats my mom has. You can get all of the details for my card over on my blog HERE. And you can pick up Lap Full of Kittens for yourself in the A Day for Daisies Shop. Have an inspiring day!

SPRING FLOWER HAIR - Jen

Hello to all the A Day for Daisies lovers, both old and new.  Today's card features an astoundingly beautiful image called "Spring Flower Hair" from one of my favourite categories in the store, Beauties.

Spring Flower Hair

I used alcohol markers and a white gel pen to colour this lovely, and a pink cardstock mat.

Pink and orange polka dot ribbons are the embellishment, and a metal charm with the words 'Live, Laugh, Love' - certainly a perfect recipe for happiness, I think!

love always

At the Sea with Sister | Zubaida Momi

Hello ADFD fans! This is Zubaida, once again, with my second post as a Guest Designer for this month.
For this post I colored this wonderful digital image 'At the Sea with Sister'. I particularly like this image very much as it reminds me of my two girls!  :)

The card is simple as I wanted the focus on the beautiful scene of girls going to the water.

Hope you like it!

Free Time by Alison Heikkila

Hello! It's Alison once again, and today I am sharing a card I made for my son's first day of school this year. My son loves to read, perhaps more than anything else, so I knew this image, called Free Time, would be perfect for him. My son also mismatches his socks (yup, on purpose!) everyday, so I colored the image that way.

You can get more information about how I made this card over on my blog HERE. And please be sure to visit the A Day for Daisies Shop to find Free Time, as well as many other wonderful digis for all occasions. Have an inspiring day!

Potted Lavender - Jen

Welcome to the ADFD blog today.  My inspirational card for you today features the delightful image called Potted Lavender  from the store.  I love lavender, both the beautiful fragrance and the flowers!

To create my card, I merged the image into a digital frame image and a sentiment.  Once printed, I coloured the image using Copic markers, and then sewed on some seed beads as the flowers.
