Potted Lavender - Jen

Welcome to the ADFD blog today.  My inspirational card for you today features the delightful image called Potted Lavender  from the store.  I love lavender, both the beautiful fragrance and the flowers!

To create my card, I merged the image into a digital frame image and a sentiment.  Once printed, I coloured the image using Copic markers, and then sewed on some seed beads as the flowers.

Remember that we have a super friendly A Day for Daisies Community on Facebook, so come along and join us!

Keep Creating!

Flowers In My Garden - Cathy Preissing

Hello Everyone,
Back with another one of my favorite ADFD images, Flowers in My Garden.  I love these little girls - maybe it's because I have granddaughters about this age! As September moves on in Minnesota, we are acutely aware of the waning days of summer, so I thought I would hold on a little bit with this sweet cutie.  She's colored with Copics and there are lots of layers of paper from my scrap drawers to tie in the colors.  You can find more details on my blog.

Hope the weather is good where ever you are!
Happy creating!
Cathy

Home Lunch by Alison Heikkila

Hello! Alison here. Today I am sharing a card that I made for my 7 year old daughter, who is starting 2nd Grade today. I tuck little notes into my kids' lunches and snacks every day, so I thought that this would be the perfect image (called Home Lunch) for her. I made it in the bright bold colors that she loves, too.

You can get more information on how I created this card on my blog HERE. And you can find Home Lunch, as well as so many other wonderful images in the A Day for Daisies shop. Have an inspiring day!
