"Why my Mom is the Best"
I lost my Momma 23+ years ago to breast cancer.
My mom was the strongest most loving and generous person to bless my life. The short time I had with her taught me that time is short and to enjoy every minute I have with my sweet daughter. Sadly my daughter was too young to remember Mom and the beautiful memories of the two of them I carry in my heart. Thank you Momma for the love and support I still feel shining through. My heart and arms ache for just one more day, one more smile, one more hug.
If I had one wish today it would be that each and every one of you cherish the time you have with your Moms. Cherish her and give her a hug for me.
    Crafty hugs,
    D~

  5. Thank you and for letting me share why my Mom was the best. She just was! Every time I
smell a wood fire, I think of my Mom. When my mom had a hypertensive crisis, she lost the ability to smell. She never pouted she just continue to plant flowers and sit at the campfires and her smile never left her face....I loved to make her laugh. She died from Alzheimer and she is no longer lock in a place away from me.....every raindrop on my neck is my mother telling me she loves me.........

  7. Beautiful creations by the DT. I have entered and just love using your images. I will leave a comment about my Great Grandmother who was a second mother to me when I was little. She would take time out of her day to sit with me and just talk. I always love that. I loved being in her company.

  8. Thanks for the freebie!! My mom is the best because she raised 3 kids on just my father's salary as a policeman and she did all her errands with us on the BUS!! I can't imagine having to take 3 kids anywhere on the bus, plus lugging home groceries from the store!

  12. Why my Mom is the best: My Mother is in her late 80's. She raised 4 of us children without the help of the government or child support. She worked 3 jobs sometimes and times were very hard. She made us strong by her work ethic and showed us that missing a meal or not wearing designer clothing wouldn't kill us. We were taught respect and given a backbone. Even with no pension and only living on social security she still continues to teach us.
