Penguin in the Sky - Cathy

I thought I would share a simple make with you using traditional Christmas colors and ADFD Penguin in the Sky.  I actually made the card this summer for a spread in a card-making magazine in the UK that was featuring Tammy's penguins.  You can find more details on my blog.
Make sure you pop back over the next two days, our Guest DT folks have cards coming up!
Happy creating!

Birds for Bree - Jen

This beautiful image, called Birds for Bree reminds me of my childhood in Durban, South Africa, where we'd visit Central Gardens to feed the pigeons.  Dad would buy a packet of seed from the vendor sitting at the gate, and as soon as you'd opened the packet the pigeons would descend from the surrounding statues and monuments,  and sit on your shoulders and hands to feast.

I coloured the image using my Copics and Graph'It markers, and a white gel pen.  I kept the card clean and simple, as I wanted to showcase the image, without any fussy distractions.

Thanks for allowing me to share this darling image with you, please take look at the other amazing images in the store here.

Keep Creating!

Kitty Gift - Tanja

Hi there,

it's Tanja here and I would like to show you this pastel Watercolor Christmas Card. I colored the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens; Distress Markers and a damp watercolor brush. I used pastel colors for a whimsical and soft look and a stencil to emboss a subtle texture onto the background panel.

For more information on the creation of this Card visit my Blog Little Art Cottage.

You'll find Kitty Gift and so many other wonderful images including Monthly Specials and Freebies in the A Day for Daisies Shop.

Make sure to join our Challenge "Add some Sparkle!" right here on the ADFD Blog.

Have a day for daisies.

Mama Dreams - Jen L

My friend Tammy is only a few days away from giving birth to her baby girl, whom she and her hubby have decided to call Hayley.  I chose to showcase this image from the A Day for Daisies store, and it's aptly named "Mama Dreams"

My card has the corners punched, and a peach coloured cardstock mat.  The embellishments are a sentiment, popped up on foam blocks and a portion of the flowers on the image, resized, coloured and popped up on foam blocks.

Thanks for dropping by today!
